A Student’s Big-character Poster — An Accusation Against Feudal Parents and the Middle Schoolers Behind Them
This is a personal reflection after experiencing the brutal dictatorship of my parents and seeing the article “What Kind of Parents Do We Need” on the forum. The following events are all personal experiences. This article may be somewhat clumsy, and if there are errors, comrades are welcome to point them out:
Currently, feudal patriarchs force their children into speculative studies, treating their children as stocks, and they even want to “invest” as much as possible in their children so that the children can return double. In other words, in a society with private ownership, children are the property of feudal parents. Therefore, “demanding unlimited ownership and control over this private property” [1], resulting in children having no freedom under the control of feudal parents. In a Confucian country like Zhongxiu, this phenomenon is even more serious, to the point of being shocking.
In fact, their concern for their children is extremely hypocritical and ridiculous. Claiming “giving you freedom,” “meticulous care,” all are nonsense. For example, some feudal parents call buying various snacks and cakes for their children as “good,” which is “care,” but is it really so?
Tear apart the superficial warmth of excuses like “buying birthday cakes,” and look at what they are really up to!
This is nothing but forcing children into speculative studies and giving a little pitiful charity behind the stick, to prevent children from jumping off buildings and committing suicide due to excessive pressure, thus losing this stock. After years of speculative efforts, it’s all a failure. Moreover, this charity is probably only given when the children perform well academically; when they don’t, they give a sour face! Just like the female madam in “Sister Sister Stand Up.” Is this caring?
As for students being oppressed and unjustly scolded by the “Old Nine” (a term for authority figures) in school, and when they refuse to speculate in studies, instead reading extracurricular books to resist, they are met with rage, as if facing a great enemy, even smashing their phones, throwing away tablets, tearing up extracurricular books! Is this caring?
Since students cannot participate in labor and are not economically independent, and still need to rely on and parasitize feudal families for a period, feudal parents control the economic lifeline of students, forcing students to obey their wishes. Parents can freely check students’ personal belongings, such as backpacks, or they will be thrown out and disowned! Is this caring??
They call “sending the sick child to the hospital for treatment” as “care,” but isn’t this a duty of upbringing? Is it normal for a sick child not to be taken to the hospital? Is it normal to take a sick leave, get an emergency IV for half an hour at a small clinic to reduce fever, then forcibly send the child back to the “study institution” to continue speculating? I can only say it’s shameless!
When students show a little resistance, oppose the oppression of their studies and lives by parents, they act as if they are righteous, saying “your path is yours to walk,” “we will have nothing to do with you in the future,” “we are more ‘merciful’ than xxx parents,” but in reality? Who is collaborating with the Old Nine to rule over students? Who is sending students into drug-rehabilitation schools to suffer abuse from black instructors? Who is constantly reciting Confucian phrases like “raising children to prevent old age,” “filial piety first”? It’s feudal parents in the dark old society of Zhongxiu, implementing fascist oppression with no freedom for their children! In the matter of speculative studies, parents are the most shameless and hypocritical!
This is not enough. Now, fascist male chauvinists run rampant in Zhongxiu society, women have no political rights, and they are the most oppressed group. Male chauvinists even distort the Wuhan University sexual harassment case with clear evidence of masturbation by Xiao Mou, launching smear campaigns, insults, and online abuse against girls who suffer mental attacks due to masturbation! This social phenomenon is also reflected in schools. First, male authority figures insult, sexually harass, and even rape female students, causing many to suffer depression, mental breakdown, and suicide. The beast Tang Yuwen from Baise Qifu Middle School in Guangxi did exactly this disgusting thing. Because women do not inherit property in patriarchal society, they become commodities that can be sold at high prices in the eyes of feudal parents. When daughters are sexually assaulted or raped unjustly, feudal parents even turn around and blame the victims, attacking women as “sluts” or “deliberately flirting,” just to see the price of the commodity drop and gain less profit. This is a shocking human trafficking account! And feudal parents are the most hateful sellers in this transaction.
But is it only feudal parents who impose reactionary fascist oppression on youth? Why are there so many cases of children being sent to drug-rehabilitation schools (like the recent incident of the female artist Yu Shu on Bilibili) and children being ruled by parents to death[2]?
In this matter, Zhongxiu bears the heavy responsibility!
It is Zhongxiu, after the capitalist restoration, that launched the great counter-movement “Criticize Lin, Criticize Confucius” supported by Chairman Mao. To lull the entire nation’s resistance against Zhongxiu, it vigorously promoted Confucianism in the ideological field, lifting up Confucius’s stinky feet, and collecting all the cultural dross of exploitative classes over thousands of years under the beautiful name of “Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture,” propagating wildly!
It is Zhongxiu, after abolishing the People’s Communes in rural areas, promoting household contract responsibility, bringing back small-scale peasant economy in China, and restoring the economic foundation of private ownership that Confucianism exists upon. It also stopped the “Vigorous Youth Going to the Countryside” movement, causing students to detach from labor, practice, society, and the people; in cities, it re-implemented the long-criticized grade-oriented revisionist education route, and in various speeches and meetings in schools, it instilled reactionary Confucian ideas like “Endure hardships to become a superior person,” causing students to be unable to unite, compete for speculative interests, accept Confucian hierarchy, and become slaves obedient to Zhongxiu!
It is Zhongxiu, colluding with gangsters and bandits, establishing various so-called “schools” that are actually concentration camps, even illegal under Zhongxiu law, called “drug-rehabilitation schools”! The bureaucratic monopoly bourgeoisie turns a blind eye as young people suffer abuse from black instructors and thugs. If they drive the youth to madness or cause death, they hypocritically pay the parents tens of thousands of yuan to settle the matter! (Feudal parents also accept this money, proving they have no real “love” for their children, only treating this as an investment commodity to recover value early.) The Pucheng incident earlier this year is exactly like this[3].
It is Zhongxiu, indifferent to the heinous crimes of Old Nine sexual assault and rape of students—https://www.grjjlt.com/t/topic/1508—just dismissing them with only expulsion from the Party and transferring the rapists to security departments; is this “punishment” for fascist male chauvinists? Zhongxiu even condones these reactionary behaviors of Old Nine, collaborating with feudal parents to suppress student resistance!
It is Zhongxiu, vigorously promoting all kinds of spiritual opium to numb students’ minds, among which the most reactionary and blatant are the 二次元 (2D) pornographic games “Genshin Impact” and the propaganda of wolf-like treatment among players in the MOBA game “League of Legends”! Due to the petty bourgeoisie’s detachment from labor and society, students’ thoughts are close to the bourgeoisie. Under Zhongxiu’s shameless indulgence in spiritual opium, they indulge in reactionary games and short videos, becoming more and more servile, increasingly obedient to the brutal suppression by Old Nine, parents, and the forces behind them! Some students even laugh at classmates who jump off buildings due to psychological issues caused by the pressure of study, shocking and heartbreaking. “How many heroes are wounded by cigarettes nowadays” [4].
In summary, the traitorous Zhongxiu clique is the main culprit causing Chinese students to fall into such a dire situation; feudal parents are the best accomplices helping Zhongxiu suppress youth and kill individuality. Everyone knows that Chairman Mao said, “The world belongs to you and us, but ultimately it belongs to you… Young people are vigorous and thriving, like the sun at 8 or 9 in the morning. Hope is placed on you.”[5], “Young people are the most active and energetic force in the entire society. They are most eager to learn, least conservative, especially during the period of socialism.”[6] As the most vibrant force in China, students have now fallen into such a terrible situation. If Zhongxiu’s fascist rule continues, won’t China be doomed?
What should students do?
I believe there is only one answer: Revolution is innocent, rebellion is justified! Currently, Zhongxiu society is so dark that every moment, people are being persecuted, unjustly oppressed, and even some ordinary people are labeled “mentally ill” and locked in “psychiatric hospitals” just for petitioning. Such cases are countless. For such a dark society, as the new force of students, as the hope and future of this country, can we just watch idly? If even students are so numb and obedient to this society, where is China’s hope? Then China will truly perish! It’s shocking!
Here I call on approximately 161 million elementary and middle school students, over 45 million high school students, and about 47 million university students in the whole country[7]:
Our young students, open your eyes! Don’t be deceived by this seemingly “prosperous” old society! As intellectuals, if we have not yet become Zhongxiu’s obedient dogs and reactionary court writers, we should speak for the working class! We should stand with all oppressed laboring people! To do this, we must unite, purge all kinds of spiritual opium and reactionary ideas in our minds, learn true Marxism, and go to the most numerous and oppressed working class!Maybe some will say, Zhongxiu is so powerful, with police, army, media tools, and a group of right-wing petty bourgeoisie and private capitalists with vested interests, and even international powers like the Russian Empire, North Korea, and others cozying up to Zhongxiu… How can resistance succeed?
I think, this is just a frightening paper tiger. Because Zhongxiu fears only the people! So every time the people rise in protest, Zhongxiu always acts guilty, releases one ridiculous distorted “police report” after another, and directly dispatches armed police and other tools of dictatorship to suppress the people! So, we shouldn’t fear this paper tiger, but instead recognize our strength and strike it hard! The forward march of history, represented by the people, is unstoppable by Zhongxiu and other reactionary forces in the world!
Our cause is just! A just cause cannot be defeated by any enemy!
We are moving forward.
We are undertaking a glorious and great cause that our predecessors never did.
Our goal must be achieved!
Our goal will definitely be achieved!
