Selected Palestinian Battle Poems: "The Road to Liberation," "I Persist in Fighting," "Praising the Battle of Gaza"

In 1976, the People’s Literature Publishing House of socialist China, adhering to the spirit of internationalism, cared about the anti-imperialist revolutionary struggles of Third World countries, and translated and published the book “Palestinian Battle Poems,” introducing the revolutionary deeds of the Palestinian people to a broad Chinese readership. The content is passionate and inspiring, with strong contemporary significance. Here, three poems are selected for everyone. It is worth noting that at that time, Fatah had not yet compromised or surrendered and was still a fighting organization, so many of the poems in the book came from Fatah fighters.

Keep fighting! Keep fighting!

At that time, Fatah, despite the serious tendency towards compromise among upper-level figures like Arafat (hoping to rely on Arab countries, namely Nasser and the Syrian Ba’ath Party to restore Palestine), was still fundamentally revolutionary, which is why such poetry could be written. Nowadays, Fatah members are mostly like worms such as Abbas, and the banner of national liberation has been handed over to Hamas.
