Greatly Heartening News!

Report 1:

A Brazilian woman, after discovering her boyfriend attempting to rape his 11-year-old daughter, killed him, cut off his genitals, and then set the body on fire. The jury ultimately acquitted her.
According to The Sun of the UK, Erica Pereira da Silveira Vicente, who lives in Minas Gerais, Brazil, pleaded guilty to the charge of killing her partner Everton Amaro de Silva.
She argued that she was merely protecting her daughter from rape.
The report stated that Pereira, upon seeing a distressing text message his boyfriend had sent to their daughter, witnessed him attempting to assault the girl.
Pereira added a powerful sedative known as clonazepam to her boyfriend’s drink and, after he fell unconscious, stabbed him to death.
With the help of a teenage accomplice, she moved the body to a vacant lot in Belo Horizonte, cut off the boyfriend’s testicles, and set the body on fire.
Police traced the weapon to Pereira’s apartment using blood evidence and recovered the murder weapon under her confession. She immediately pleaded not guilty but stressed that she only acted to protect her daughter.
The prosecution stressed that the brutal method demonstrated Pereira’s冷静 premeditation rather than mere anger. Nevertheless, the jury still found Erica not guilty and dropped all charges.

Report 2:

Brazilian woman Erica Silveira witnessed her boyfriend attempt to sexually assault her 11-year-old daughter on March 11, 2025, and, in anger, killed him, then cut off his genitals and burned the body. After the incident she surrendered to the authorities, and the prosecution charged her with multiple serious offenses. After trial, the local jury on March 25 ruled her not guilty, and the judge declared the charges unfounded, with Erica Silveira released on the spot.
Erica Silveira (full name Érica Pereira da Silveira Vicente) is a single mother in Minas Gerais, 42 at the time of the incident, whose daughter was 11. The victim Everton Silva (full name Everton Amaro da Silva) was 47 at the time and had been acquainted with Erica since childhood, later becoming lovers.
According to Erica’s testimony, two weeks before the incident she found Everton sending sexual harassment messages to her daughter. At 3:00 a.m. on March 11, 2025, she was awakened by her daughter’s screams, rushed into the room, and found Everton, drunk, on top of the daughter with his pants down, attempting to sexually assault her.
She then dragged Everton to the living room, stabbed him repeatedly with a knife, and beat him with a wooden stick, causing his death. Then a teenage neighbor who heard the commotion came over, and the two together moved the corpse to a nearby vacant lot. Erica cut off the victim’s genitals and burned the body there.
After the incident, Erica immediately surrendered to the police and handed over the murder weapon.
The prosecution alleged discrepancies with Erica’s statements. They claimed that Erica had beforehand laced Everton’s drink with a sedative, and, while he was unconscious, stabbed him, beat him with a wooden stick, cut off his genitals, and then, with another minor, moved the body to the wasteland and burned it. The prosecution argued there was “cold-blooded premeditation,” with particularly cruel methods, and that the crime stemmed from trivial matters, taking advantage of the victim’s inability to resist, constituting aggravated murder, desecration of a corpse, and incitement of a minor crime, among others.
The case sparked wide controversy; some people dubbed Erica “the heroic mother protecting her daughter,” while others questioned whether her methods were too brutal and beyond self-defense.
On March 24, the case went to trial. After one day of testimony, the jury, on the following day, found Erica not guilty, ruling that her actions constituted legitimate self-defense of a third party (the daughter) and protective acts in a moment of emotional upheaval. The judge immediately dropped the related charges, and Erica was released on the spot.

The prosecutors are just lying and making rumors. Erika could already know in advance that this animal would rape her daughter and prepared sedatives, right
