School Diary (Long-term Updates)

(I will continue to update this in the long term, hoping that comrades can raise more questions and suggestions)
12.5
The girl sitting diagonally behind me, due to her obesity, is often bullied at school, and this situation has existed for more than a year.
First, let’s get a preliminary understanding of her. In terms of body shape, she is indeed quite fat, but that is not a reason for bullying. In the past few days of contact, I think she is a very kind girl, but she does not refuse others. When bullied, she adopts a passive attitude, accepting the demands of the bullies. For example, classmate A asked her for toilet paper to blow his nose, and in a bullying manner, forced her to give classmate A six sheets of toilet paper, but she only gave four sheets. Then classmate A began to verbally abuse her. Unable to bear it, I helped her “补上” (make up for) these two sheets. However, he still spoke arrogantly, insisting on her toilet paper, and finally took eight sheets and left. (This classmate A was once my good friend. One reason he bullied this girl was that her body did not meet his bourgeois aesthetic standards. He once told me personally, “Girls who don’t look pretty can be scolded as they like.”)
In addition, she really wants to integrate into the class. To do so, she may have told many stories about herself that do not match her actual situation, such as having an American boyfriend, traveling to many places across the country, and about passing level eight in dance, etc. The bullies then spread these stories widely, creating a bad impression of her among most classmates. Moreover, the people bullying her are not only classmate A; almost everyone in the class has participated in bullying incidents, with only a few not involved. Even those few are not all good people. After discussing with comrades, it was concluded that the main reasons for bullying her are: first, her obesity, which does not meet their bourgeois aesthetic standards; second, they see her as easy to bully for fun; third, they follow the “big crowd” and do whatever they do.
Additionally, there are some so-called “middlemen” in the class who adopt an attitude of “it has nothing to do with me as long as it doesn’t affect me.” This attitude is often reflected in students who try to benefit academically, mostly those who are good at studying for personal gain. For example, my deskmate, a typical opportunist, during class, only demanded that the bullying classmates be removed because they affected his class concentration, not because he opposed their verbal attacks on her. He wanted the teacher to use authoritarian measures to remove them. This also shows the selfishness of these opportunists. Although the three bullies were eventually removed, the three new students who replaced them still behaved as bullies, continuously abusing her. During class, they knew she was struggling academically but still repeatedly kicked her desk under the pretext of “letting her study well.” When she was not there, they would step on her desk and chair, and other opportunists would laugh and pour soup on her desk without regard. This once again made me realize that this has become a common phenomenon. Whether classmates with good or poor grades, most participate in the violence. If this problem is not fundamentally addressed, no matter how many times it is replaced, the result will be the same. As a Marxist, I must stop this. However, the perpetrators have labeled me as a “justice messenger.” They clearly know what they are doing is wrong but do not care, oppose me, and spread rumors in the class. I feel very speechless about this. Moreover, the bullies have repeatedly spread rumors about the bullied girl, saying she is someone’s wife, etc.
Later, after discussing with comrades, it was agreed that opposing campus bullying is extremely important and has a very harmful impact. It is a typical example of human oppression. The happiness of the bullies is built on bullying this girl, completely disregarding her feelings. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, it was decided to carry out our work on 12.8, that is, Monday.

How was the communication today

Currently, the decision is to take learning as the breakthrough point, gradually advance, and achieve the goal of anti-bullying. However, because I don’t quite understand how to interact correctly with girls and am afraid of causing misunderstandings in the process, that would be bad. I still need to make proper arrangements.

How was the attitude of classmates in class today? Did any of the extreme male chauvinist small capitalists lead trouble, such as touching bodies, blocking people in the corridor after class, or smashing desks?

Yes, things like language attacks happen almost every day, but today I may have encountered fewer of them.

How is it going today with you and your classmates fighting back against the bullies?

For now, we can only take it slow, with the goal of befriending the bullied and stopping bullying behaviors one by one.

Why make friends with bullies?

It is the bullied person who makes friends

Due to school changes, there has been less discussion about anti-bullying and actions taken against bullied individuals. The current plan is to first find common topics with her and gradually discuss these. Today, compared to December 5th, these people seem a bit quieter, but it might be because I haven’t observed closely. Updates will continue. (But now a question has been exposed: how to correctly interact with women—please fellow comrades help answer this.)
Today in history class, we discussed World War I and the October Revolution. The content was quite outrageous. First, I won’t go into the generalities. The video shown in class whitewashed Trotsky, emphasizing how important he was and how much he contributed to the revolution, without mentioning the serious mistakes he later made.
In politics class, they boasted about how great the Chinese Communist Party is and how much it loves peace, sending over fifty thousand peacekeeping soldiers to mediate conflicts, mixing just and unjust wars as if they are the same, trying to confuse us and make us oppose all wars.
In math class, after last time confronting Lao Jiu, Lao Jiu started to be passive and said I shouldn’t interfere. I told him to be more daring and speak up, but he said he could do whatever he wanted and that I couldn’t control him. He said I don’t care if he learns well or not. I can’t stop you from interfering with me, and whatever I do, you shouldn’t interfere—it’s like I owe you something.
Today, my backup phone was discovered by my dad. I lied that my mom lent it to me, and he brainwashed me again. Because my English isn’t good, he signed me up for a class outside, costing 400 per session. He told me to cherish and study hard, which is simply unbelievable. He probably thinks I will be grateful and obedient to him, and will “respect” him in the future. But I still don’t know what will happen next, so I need to stay safe.

In fact, Trotsky was on the side of the Mensheviks from the very beginning, opposing Lenin, promoting the theory of “permanent revolution,” and during the October Revolution, he even infiltrated the Bolsheviks to sabotage the revolution. In the end, he wrote black propaganda attacking Lenin and shamelessly boasting about himself.

  1. There was no obvious progress today, but I found that when bullies attack alone, their strength is very fragile. Using counterattacks to make them shut up. However, some scoundrels say, “I have the right to scold her myself,” or “What does it matter to you if I scold her?” These extremely reactionary remarks make me think about their situation. But simply stopping their bullying behavior is not enough; the victim also needs to have some awareness and take proactive, legitimate measures.
  2. Because of a mistake I made before, my deskmate has a stereotyped impression of me, thinking that I always want to criticize him when I speak. He doesn’t listen to my explanations several times. Regarding anti-bullying, he thinks I only talk about it but don’t do anything practical. I find this extremely unbelievable. According to his view, just change the position without any investigation and say I only talk big. The problem is that now almost the entire class, including him, is unrelated to this bullying. No matter how the results are changed, the victim still suffers from bullying. Nothing will change. His approach only puts pressure on me and has no effect at all.
  3. In the morning, Math Laojiu was barking as usual. This time, it was again because of homework issues, and he took action to prank.

Es demasiado descarado, ¿qué justificación hay para el acoso?

It is necessary to enable bullied girls to take the initiative to act. I think if possible, understanding the situation of bullied girls and doing some psychological work could help, but it should not turn into seduction. At the same time, attention should be paid to preventing the schemes and tricks of bullies. Otherwise, relying solely on external help will be ineffective. Also, it is important to use conflicts and divisions among bullies to strike and split them. I wonder how TZ’s deskmate has been recently.

I very much agree with Comrade Bei Xi’s opinion. However, I have been seriously ill these past two days and haven’t had the chance to update. I am also not very familiar with the latest situation of the bullied person, but I will start working on it tomorrow, encouraging her to stand up and resist. Additionally, what might make you distrustful is that he is actually a member of the Communist Youth League (possibly due to good academic performance). Today, they are working on the archives, but I am extremely disgusted with his attitude. He looks down on poor students and can only exploit them (I will explain later), yet he still shamelessly talks about uniting classmates and having high ideological consciousness… He is just a lackey of Lao Jiu (personal opinion).

Has Tz’s illness improved? I asked the wrong question before; I actually wanted to know how your comrade has been recently. However, your deskmate seems to be a rather dangerous two-faced person, as seen from him being a member of the Communist Youth League and his outwardly different statements behind the scenes.

I just coughed my throat raw earlier, and I was quite panicked, but it should be fine. I took three days off this Friday. I really don’t know what happened to my comrade, and I’m quite worried. I’ll follow up on Monday.

Since I won’t be going to school tomorrow, I should finish整理 my notes.
12.11 (I don’t know the reason, but I suddenly fell ill earlier, so there’s nothing much to say about the 10th.)
Today, I went to school in the afternoon, but I hadn’t even started evening care when I had to go home again because my illness worsened. However, I believe the main reasons for my condition worsening are: 1. The unreasonable demands of my fascist authoritarian father, 2. Hatred caused by the bully’s excessive behavior, 3. The bully’s contempt for women.
First, starting from point one, since I haven’t had classes for a day, to prevent me from falling behind in my studies, I went for an injection. I arrived at school before the first class in the afternoon, and due to this reason, I had to go to school, which led to the following two issues.
Second, due to the bully’s excessive behavior, I feel powerless in anti-bullying efforts because my condition hasn’t improved. I can only watch the bully torment her, unable to speak properly, let alone stop them. I can only curse them in my heart as beasts. The classmate A I mentioned earlier jumped out again and was even more disgusting than last time, shamelessly asking for 20 sheets of toilet paper! I was speechless. Although toilet paper is indeed cheap, why ask her instead of others? Ultimately, it’s because they think this girl is easy to bully. Sometimes, they are clearly at fault but still act innocent, as if they are the victims.
Third, contempt for women, which also comes from this group of bullies. They can be said to have no sense of boundaries, openly engaging in “mutual touching” in front of others, completely ignoring the feelings of female classmates, attacking each other in a sexually repressive manner (though I think this can be exploited). There are also so-called league members and league secretaries (in the class) who do these kinds of things and even simulate sexual acts openly, which is simply a group of scum and degenerates. This further highlights that under the leadership of the middle school, the Communist Youth League is already a hollow shell, unable to play a role model or leader, just a name.
Because of points two and three, my anger suddenly surged. I thought about it during a class, and the more I thought, the angrier I became, feeling more powerless. After class, I had a fever again, so I had to ask for leave and go home.
Regarding my deskmate, as comrades said, he is a two-faced person. He joins the Communist Youth League just for the title; with this title, he can better speculate. I believe he won’t do anything truly for classmates. He can’t grasp the main contradiction and always circles around secondary issues. His academic performance in speculation is very good, dreaming of getting into a good university and achieving a class leap. But because of this, his thinking is unchangeable unless he goes bankrupt. So I think those who excel in speculation all have the goal of using it to climb the social ladder, but this doesn’t apply to everyone. My comrade used to be a “good student” in the eyes of the teacher, but due to parental authoritarian oppression and some other issues, he chose the revolutionary path. I was also influenced by him.
(I want to add a reflection on my life situation in the school diary, and I would like to seek opinions from comrades.)

Getting injections like this is too outrageous, treating the child like a machine for repairs. We should consider fighting back after this. The classmate you mentioned is also too despicable.
