Today, while I was having dinner and watching the news, I saw something. It was about an American female internet celebrity who conducted a social experiment, claiming she had no money to buy formula for her child, and in the background, there were crying baby sounds. She called some American churches to ask if they could help her. As a result, all the Muslim and Black churches gave her money or said they would donate money to buy formula for her. Only the White church cursed her, telling her to go sell sex or dance topless to make money. The only White church that offered help was an old man who was very poor. After making the call, the internet celebrity posted this incident online, sparking heated discussion. Those White churches (online they said it was Evangelical, but I haven’t looked into the religious details, so I don’t know much about it) now call this female internet celebrity a witch, and they even posted a bounty online, saying they would pay anyone who could kill her and provide proof. I didn’t have much understanding of the American situation before, but I feel that these so-called White churches here are more like privileged clergy classes, probably closer in nature to the aristocracy, which makes them extremely selfish. Does anyone have a better understanding of American churches? How do you view this incident?
Too reactionary
Full of righteousness and morality, yet a stomach full of male thieves and female prostitutes—that’s the true face of these damn Christian evangelical groups. The churches where venomous curses are uttered, and even where people are encouraged to strip and dance, are basically the more pure American redneck churches, representing the American bourgeois right-wing.
From this perspective, the United States actually shares a high degree of similarity with China. China’s Confucian feudal patriarchs are also full of righteousness and morality, yet a stomach full of male thieves and female prostitutes. They are also very good at spouting empty moral sermons, but in reality, their actions are the most vulgar, reactionary, and aimed at maintaining the existing social system. It is evident that these American “little pinks” and their relatives across the ocean, although often fighting fiercely, are highly unified in their opposition to communism and the people.
