Israeli gang encirclement of Gaza:
October 2023
On October 9, Israel announced a “total blockade” of Gaza, preventing all food, water, medicine, fuel, and electricity from entering. The then Israeli Defense Minister Gallant viciously slandered the people of Gaza as “human-shaped animals” and claimed to take action, ordering a “total siege.”
(*After 13 months, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Gallant and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.)
On October 21, the first ambulance was allowed to enter Gaza via land from Egypt, after Israel had continued deadly bombings for two weeks.

November 2023
On November 24, (*Hamas-led popular armed struggle forced) Israel reached a temporary ceasefire with Hamas, promising to slightly increase humanitarian aid into Gaza. However, the aid entering Gaza was still severely insufficient to meet the needs, with a large portion of Gaza’s population being children. The temporary ceasefire allowed for a prisoner exchange between Israeli captors and Palestinian prisoners held by Israel, but Israel did not end the war. The ceasefire ended after a week, and the Israeli gang resumed their bloody slaughter, causing more civilian casualties, journalists, aid workers, medical personnel, and Hamas members.

  > After the first round of shooting stopped, people returned to the trucks, and soldiers opened fire again.
  > Al Jazeera reporter Ismail Ghul on the scene reported: “After the gunfire, Israeli tanks advanced, crushing many dead and wounded bodies.”

The Israeli forces carried out multiple similar attacks on unarmed aid convoys, claiming they targeted “terrorists,” but never provided evidence.
Right-wing Israeli extremists also repeatedly attacked aid convoys or tried to prevent them from entering Gaza.
