AI scams so realistic, the bottom man is just wasting effort

On February 24th, the Shanghai Public Security Bureau Minhang Branch recently announced the bust of a telecommunications network fraud case under the guise of “dating and socializing,” dismantling a 10-person scam gang involved in over 2 million yuan in illicit funds. The criminal gang used a fixed set of scam templates. They either employed “broad casting” — using AI-generated videos or online materials to create short videos for attracting attention and誘導 victims to add WeChat friends; or “focused fishing” — using AI-generated photos of “little sisters” with bourgeois aesthetic features to add friends via online platforms; or a combination of both. After adding friends, the “chat operators” in the gang would use a set of “romantic scripts” to chat. They established “romantic relationships” by creating personas, chatting warmly, and gifting bracelets. When the victims, who had been immersed in色情文艺 (pornographic arts and literature), believed that “women” like their fantasies were genuinely coming to pursue them and became ecstatic, the “chat operators” would use empty promises of marriage and future plans as carrots dangling in front of their eyes,诱导 (induce) the victims to further fall for it. If the victims passed tests like “purchasing gifts” or “sending opening day flower baskets,” the gang would confirm they could extract money from them. Finally, the “chat operators” would lie that family members were hospitalized needing expensive surgery, making outrageous demands. After the victims transferred money, hoping that the “little sisters” on the other end of the phone would help them through difficulties and dream of being loved and embraced, they would find out their scam when the phone showed a block message. Only then would they realize they had been deceived.

In January 2025, the Shanghai Minhang police launched a concentrated crackdown in Guangdong, Fujian, Shandong, and other regions. They seized over 60 mobile phones used for posting引流短视频 (traffic-driving short videos) and chatting, more than 250 SIM cards, and discovered a set of scripts and contact lists of nearly a thousand potential victims across various regions. The news revealed that the scam gang used AI technology to generate a complete set of highly realistic selfies, “ID cards,” “family medical records,” and “purchase receipts.” From AI girlfriends to AI scams, in capitalist society, AI’s increased productivity is most likely applied in industries that promote淫秽 (obscene) and盗窃 (theft). The reason so many people are deceived is closely related to the proliferation of色情文艺作品 (pornographic arts and literature) promoted by China’s Ministry of Culture. Victims, brainwashed by色情作品, are easily迷失 (lost) their judgment at the mere mention of “哥哥” (brother), and when they see AI-generated slender, fair selfies, they think of scenes with美女 (beautiful women) and become overwhelmed with淫念 (lustful thoughts), losing their rationality and biting onto the hooks thrown by scammers, becoming pitiful victims controlled by淫欲 (lust).

This is too absurd, the first time I know that scam gangs can be so patient in fishing, only ten people can scam two million yuan through the man below… and even ID cards can be generated by AI. Will the repair team pay attention to this? I wonder if the crime of forging or altering resident ID cards can be applied to images.

Article 280, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Law: Forging, altering, or trading in resident identity cards, passports, social security cards, driving licenses, and other documents legally used to prove identity, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, detention, control, or deprivation of political rights, and may also be fined; if the circumstances are serious, the sentence shall be between three and seven years of fixed-term imprisonment, and may also be fined.
It’s not very clear yet, after all, this does not involve manufacturing documents and using them in official settings. Hard to say.

There are still too many underbosses in the middle repair society, and they are constantly emerging.

I feel that I have read too much pornographic art and haven’t had contact with real working women, so I don’t have basic respect for women. Transferring money to develop a romantic relationship actually shows that these men have a certain definition of “love” — they don’t see the other person as an independent and autonomous individual, but think that they can buy their way into a relationship. Personally, I think this kind of relationship is similar to prostitution.

This is the case. It is equivalent exchange in capitalist society, namely legitimate pornography. This kind of seemingly equal but actually reactionary love and women’s liberation are incompatible.

From tea-selling women, to alcohol scams, and now AI fraud, men who fall for these scams keep falling one after another, always the same group of people. Articles explaining these types of scams are everywhere, but the scams keep changing disguises and still catch people. This is because men generally have poor morals, thinking that giving a little money can make them engage with women as if they were prostitutes. Therefore, they always hold onto illusions. No matter how primitive the scam is, people still fall for it. It cannot be solved just by popular science articles explaining scams.

There is little pity for these people who were deceived; it seems more like a willing victim and a willing sufferer. The vast majority are driven by their own sexual desires, fantasizing about finding a submissive family slave through such means.

Seeing these photos, my first reaction is that you can’t tell they are AI-generated at all; they are indeed very realistic. In fact, in a capitalist society, such advanced productive forces are used for reactionary purposes. AI is widely used to generate pornographic images, and such scams also cater to the gaze of certain men, serving the interests of scammers.
