It appears that under the crackdown by several countries, telecom fraud activities in Myanmar are about to be eradicated, and people in these countries will enjoy a peaceful life. But is this really the case? Radio France International (RFI) pointed out that these online telecom scams are usually operated by Chinese fugitives who fled their homeland after the crackdown in 2020, hiding in areas where Myanmar’s military regime was seized by insurgents. Those conducting telecom fraud in Mya Wadi are under the protection of the Kloen border defense forces, recklessly deceiving and defrauding people and harming the working people. Sorchut and Zhongxiu also had early contacts; the telecom fraud zone established in Mya Wadi was built with the involvement and investment of the Chinese security spy She Zhijiang, who was bought off by Zhongxiu. Now Zhongxiu is cracking down on the telecom fraud zone it influenced, indicating that Zhongxiu has other ulterior motives. In fact, Zhongxiu is merely choosing the most advantageous way to colonial invasion. When “cracking down” on telecom fraud benefits its expansion, Zhongxiu raises the banner of fighting telecom fraud; for example, Zhongxiu supports the Kokang United Army in northern Myanmar to eliminate telecom scams, which behind the scenes involves the four major families breaking free from Zhongxiu control and defecting to the Russian-backed Myanmar military government. Zhongxiu then uses new comprador warlords to reassert control over the local area; when these warlords are under its control, Zhongxiu tacitly allows the existence of telecom fraud. In summary, as long as Zhongxiu intends to invade, and comprador warlords exist in the colony, not only will victims of telecom fraud continue to exist, but more colonial people will also be trapped under decayed and reactionary colonial rule. Only by eliminating Zhongxiu and its comprador agents can the working people truly be liberated.

What is the purpose of the attack on Miaowadi Park by the Zhongxiu? I think, on one hand, it is related to the pressure from public opinion within the country, and on the other hand, it might be to support the Kren border defense army in expanding their territory, but it still feels quite abstract.
