Calculated at 30 yuan per meal, the employee needs to return 44,490 yuan for meals, and additionally pay overdue interest and company recovery fees based on the one-year loan market quotation rate, sparking social concern. In fact, as early as when signing the labor contract, Duoyi Company stipulated that if employees have legal disputes with the company upon resignation, they must compensate the company 30 yuan per meal (some say the regulation is 50 yuan), with malicious intent. In capitalist society, one side accumulates wealth, the other side accumulates poverty. Programmers help the gaming industry bourgeoisie divide the surplus value, but they only receive minimal compensation. To gain more profit, the gaming industry bourgeoisie always seeks to intensify exploitation of employees, increasing profits. Deducting wages or even inventing charges and demanding so-called “meal fees” are methods used by these evil gaming industry bourgeoisie.
Previously, Duoyi Network Company had already gained a notorious reputation. It strengthened exploitation of employees by extending working hours and increasing work intensity. Duoyi implements the “995” work system from Monday to Friday, requiring employees to work from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with only a one-hour break, without overtime pay or compensatory leave. The company enforces strict control, forbidding mobile phone use during work, and those who violate are publicly criticized and talked to. To prevent employee resistance, Duoyi Network Company employs divisive and enslaving tactics. It requires employees to delete WeChat contacts, forbids joining groups with current or former colleagues, encourages reporting and collective punishment, attempting to divide employees and organize them to oppose Duoyi’s brutal oppression. In Duoyi’s shareholding structure, Xu Bo firmly controls most of the shares. Tianyancha shows that Guangzhou Duoyi Network Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 360 million yuan, is held by Xu Bo and Guangzhou Haoran Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) with 99.5% and 0.5%, respectively, and the latter is 96% owned by Xu Bo. Xu Bo is the decisive authority in the company, wielding arbitrary power over employees. According to media reports, as early as early 2019, Duoyi’s chairman and major capitalist Xu Bo demanded employees who had been with the company for a year to express gratitude or feedback, sending “thank you red envelopes” ranging from 100 to 500 yuan. Later, at the annual meeting, Xu Bo announced he would refuse all red envelopes and return ten times the amount to employees who sent them. Duoyi then declared this behavior as “testing the more well-intentioned employees,” actually testing those who are more servile and obedient to help Xu Bo and other capitalists divide surplus value. Xu Bo himself lives a life of excess, parasitizing on his employees, yet still expects employees to thank him—an act of shamelessness. In 2020, Xu Bo launched another “test,” stating in the company group that due to good company performance and significant profit growth, employees would voluntarily accept a 10% salary reduction. In November of the same year, Duoyi issued a statement on Weibo regarding the “voluntary salary reduction,” claiming that the total annual salary of all participants would significantly increase, with an average increase of over 100,000 yuan, and some of the increase would be paid as year-end bonuses. Xu Bo hoped to tame employees through this method, buying a loyal group of workers to maintain the capitalist order of Duoyi Network. As a so-called major capitalist with a net worth of over 20 billion yuan, Xu Bo is also notorious. During his long immersion in the reactionary culture of gaming pornography and brutal exploitation, he developed extreme bourgeois individualism and hedonism—selfish, decadent, reactionary. Under brutal oppression, Duoyi employees have rebelled, causing Duoyi Network to repeatedly fall into “labor disputes” it would rather avoid. Whenever employees win their lawsuits through struggle, Xu Bo laments that the judiciary is too “dark” and resents why it cannot be more fascist. Regarding women, capitalist Xu Bo reveals his degenerate and patriarchal face, claiming to be “China’s first father,” practicing a foul polygamous system, and having fathered over a dozen children through surrogacy.
Faced with such reactionary Duoyi Company and its capitalists, employees should not limit themselves to the framework of labor law to fight for their rights but should unite with the working people, participate in the socialist revolution to eliminate such reactionary companies, punish evil capitalists, and overthrow the entire capitalist system.
