This article is published by the People’s Daily Online Public Opinion Data Center. The People’s Daily Online Public Opinion Data Center is the predecessor of the People’s Daily Online Public Opinion Monitoring Office. In 2008, on the eve of the Beijing Olympics, the Public Opinion Monitoring Office of People’s Daily Online was established, with People’s Daily reporter Zhu Huaxin appointed as secretary-general.
