Everyone should be paying attention to the recent military exercises by the Chinese imperialist regime in the Taiwan Strait. According to Radio Free Asia, the military forces involved and the scale of this exercise are unprecedented. The military deployment extends to the first island chain and secretly passes through Japanese waters during the process (although it was discovered). In other words, it almost encircles the entire Taiwan.
This military exercise was sudden, although Western imperialist countries had anticipated it. For example, Radio Free Asia predicted before Reid Qing’s visit that the Chinese imperialist regime might carry out related military deterrence actions, but perhaps they did not expect the regime to be so aggressive.
Additionally, it makes me think of some reactionary public opinions currently popular within China. On the Taiwan issue, the Chinese regime publicly claims to pursue so-called unification, but domestically, public opinion essentially does not care about the wishes of the Taiwanese people. Their basis for unification seems to be merely that past Chinese governments have once ruled over this place. Extremist fascists have even proposed that all Taiwanese residents should be slaughtered so that mainland China can occupy the territory.
From this, it is clear that the Chinese imperialist regime’s activities of invasion against Taiwan lack any reasonable justification. According to this logic, the ongoing threats by the Chinese regime to Taiwan can be summarized in one sentence — invading here is beneficial to me, so I want to take control of this place.
