On February 28, 2026, U.S. imperialism and its running dogs, the Israeli fascists, launched an unprecedented large-scale air strike against Iran. According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, U.S. imperialist bombing of Iran has already caused over two hundred deaths and hundreds of injuries. This is another military invasion launched by U.S. imperialism after invading Venezuela, targeting third-world countries. As a war originator alongside Russia and China, U.S. imperialism has become the biggest war profiteer in recent times.
The current war is an unjust war of U.S. imperialist aggression against Iran. The purpose of U.S. imperialist war is to compete with Russian and Chinese imperialism for influence, attempting to annihilate Iran through military action and to support a comprador puppet regime in Iran that is dependent on U.S. imperialism.
The current regime in Iran is a reactionary regime of landlord bourgeoisie, representing a small clique of big comprador landlords, warlords, and theocratic clergy. It conducts counterrevolutionary policies politically, implements fascism internally, brutally suppresses the people, and plunders economically. Its reactionary nature in politics and economy determines that it cannot fight a thorough resistance. It refuses to carry out democratic reforms, mobilize the masses, and instead devotes all its strength to resisting the threat of war from U.S. imperialism, while suppressing the people and fantasizing about avoiding war through peace negotiations with U.S. imperialism. After the outbreak of war, it still refuses to implement democratic reforms, mobilize the people for resistance, and continues to maintain domestic fascist dictatorship, placing hope in external aid and mediation from China and Russia, following a one-sided anti-people resistance route. This makes the defeat of Iran’s reactionary regime in the war inevitable. Its reactionary nature stems from its class character, fearing the people more than U.S. imperialism, and adopting a compromise and surrendering route in the face of resistance.
Since Iran currently does not have a strong people’s democratic government led by the Communist Party and a people’s army led by the Communist Party, the possibility of forming a united front with democratic reforms and resistance by the willing Iranian people remains purely abstract. All Marxists should oppose U.S. imperialist aggression against Iran, expose the Iranian reactionary regime’s betrayal of China and Russia, its brutal repression of the people, refusal to implement democratic reforms, and its surrenderist stance before U.S. aggression. Ultimately, Iran’s only way to win this war is to establish a united anti-American front led by the Communist Party, forcing the current government to implement democratic reforms. Otherwise, under current conditions, Iran’s defeat is only a matter of time. If the war does not end with Iran kneeling and surrendering to U.S. imperialism, and if a forced peace is achieved, then the only outcome will be U.S. imperialism destroying Iran and supporting a more reactionary comprador puppet regime.
The airstrikes by U.S. imperialism on Iran do not demonstrate its strength but rather its weakness. U.S. imperialism has suffered strong resistance from various countries’ peoples in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and elsewhere, and has faced continuous mass movements domestically. Now it dares not and cannot launch large-scale ground wars or directly occupy Iran militarily. Therefore, it can only hope to incite internal division through counterrevolutionary massacres, plunging Iran into endless civil war and profiting from it. Iran’s ruling class may split under U.S. attacks, producing some comprador traitors who sell out to U.S. imperialism, but the Iranian people will never be intimidated by U.S. imperialist slaughter. U.S. imperialism’s “Ultimately, all persecutions against revolutionary people can only promote broader and more intense revolutionary struggles.” “All reactionaries’ attempts to eliminate revolution through slaughter are based on the mistaken belief that killing more will diminish revolution. In fact, the more reactionaries kill, the stronger the revolution becomes, and the closer reactionaries are to extinction. This is an irresistible law.” Regardless of the final fate of Iran’s reactionary theocratic regime, the anti-American struggle of the Iranian people will always be just. The righteous cause of the Iranian people’s struggle will ultimately succeed, and all imperialists and traitors will suffer shameful defeat.
The American Empire is now actually so internally weak that it dares not initiate a ground war. Because once a ground war is launched, the resistance and protests from local populations and within the United States could directly drag the American Empire into a quagmire. The previous failures of the American Empire in Afghanistan and Iraq have already shown that the U.S. cannot fundamentally occupy other colonial countries through ground warfare. Moreover, according to current news, the U.S. is even unable to sustain air and naval strikes; the Lincoln aircraft carrier was crippled by two missiles from Iran, and one B-2 strategic bomber is also gone. It is uncertain how long it will take for the U.S. to recover its industrial capacity after the war.
This is false news.
First, Iran claimed to have launched 4 missiles at the Lincoln, but provided no evidence of hits (such as videos, photos, or third-party verification), and their statement is more propaganda than fact. The online article specifically states that Iran launched Fateh-2 missiles, but this model is a short/medium-range land-based ballistic missile, designed for fixed ground targets, without terminal active radar or infrared guidance, and not intended to target moving ships with high overload maneuvers, essentially lacking anti-ship capabilities.
Second, the USS Lincoln nuclear-powered aircraft carrier has extremely strong armor, multi-layer compartmentalization, and lightning protection structures. The idea that a single conventional warhead shockwave could crack the underwater hull is absurdly exaggerated. Moreover, the U.S. Central Command quickly denied the incident: the Lincoln was not hit, and the launched missiles did not even approach the ship; all Iranian missiles missed, with the farthest impact over 5 kilometers away from the carrier.
Additionally, if a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier were truly hit and lost combat capability, such a major event would be impossible to conceal. Satellites, aerial photography, and surrounding ships would leave undeniable evidence, but currently, there is no credible footage or data supporting this claim.
In summary, this article first appeared on some self-media platforms and was later reposted by certain websites. Its purpose is to attract attention and create panic, which is a typical wartime rumor.
There is no clear information on whether the B2 bomber has crashed or if the aircraft carrier has been hit, and it’s not very important. Based on the current confirmed news, the U.S. has faced an unexpected counterattack, losing even one of its paving claws radar systems, and in terms of intercept missiles, the U.S. and Israel are running out of stock. Under these circumstances, the U.S. is also疯狂 bombing civilian areas, and Iran is also throwing missiles into urban areas. The fighting is becoming increasingly intense, and maybe the Chinese military will be very happy.
Bombing residential areas has been the consistent virtue of these reactionary armies, starting from the time they took to the skies in their planes. Today, I saw a news report in Lianhe Zaobao about Iranian internal officials attempting to negotiate with the American imperialists.
The bombing of the Iranian Mina School for Girls by the U.S. has resulted in the deaths of 168 people, including over a hundred children.
However, on March 2nd, the United Nations Security Council held a meeting titled “Children, Technology and Education in Conflict”! Hosted by the United States, the rotating presidency for this month, with Melania Trump, the wife of Donald Trump, as the chairperson. While the U.S. massacres children, it hypocritically talks about caring for children, an extreme act of shamelessness.
