Comrades, I have fought with my parents and teachers to secure a possible opportunity to work outside next semester, but I still have some concerns and questions:
My plan is to take a long leave for the remaining one and a half semesters and then go out to work (starting after the winter break), but applying for a long leave requires a medical record. My mother wants to get a mental health-related record, possibly for school aversion (though it’s funny that I currently don’t have any mental health issues). Can this be used, or is there a better option?
Is doing this somewhat radical? If not, what preparations should I make? Also, where can I work since I will be 17 after three months (I want to try working in the service industry, like a milk tea shop)?
The main process through which I obtained this opportunity was when my phone was confiscated earlier, and I simultaneously told my homeroom teacher and my mother that I did not want to take the college entrance exam. After their unsuccessful persuasion, my mother gradually compromised. However, the day before yesterday, she still told my little aunt (who is an intellectual and studies fine arts) about this matter. She still hoped that I might regret and return to Zixue University, so she wanted to arrange for me to take a leave of absence while keeping my student status. But I want to continue fighting to change it to a long leave; otherwise, I will not have a high school diploma. I hope everyone can give me some experience in job hunting.
