“Guide to Ideological Struggle” is a document proposed by Fenghuo Flame during the process of summarizing the experience of revolutionary organization activities, used to guide the ideological struggle of Marxism. It is a supplement to the party-building theory of ideological struggle presented in “The Road to China’s Future Revolution.” The first draft was completed on May 28, 2023. Today marks the 139th anniversary of the American May Day general strike—International Workers’ Day. The document has now been revised and issued; this is the first official version.

The second edition was completed on November 30, 2025, adding two chapters: “The Contradiction and Unity of Criticism and Self-Criticism” and “Whether Recognizing Gender Oppression and Supporting Women’s Liberation Are True or False Marxism as a Touchstone.” It systematically discusses issues of gender oppression and women’s liberation, clarifying the problem of women’s liberation from the theoretical height of Marxism.
